Boys & Girls Club Launches KIDSTOP Program in Little Falls

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota is launching the KIDSTOP program in Little Falls starting this summer! Starting June 3, 2025, Boys & Girls Club’s KIDSTOP program will open for the summer at Lindbergh Elementary for K-5th graders. We will launch KIDSTOP at both Lindbergh and Lincoln Elementary this fall for the 2025-26 school year, using age-specific programming to ensure the program is safe, fun and engaging for all youth.

Boys & Girls Club’s KIDSTOP program is a custodial childcare program for K-6th grade. Boys & Girls Club has 40 years of experience providing KIDSTOP in 11 other locations in the St. Cloud, Sauk Rapids-Rice and Sartell-St. Stephen school districts. Thanks to a partnership with the Little Falls School District, the KIDSTOP program will seamlessly replace Community Education’s current school-based childcare program.

“Parents can expect a quality childcare experience for their children, with great programming, plenty of choices for their kids, coupled with a strong partnership with the school district and teachers to support academic success,” said Geri Bechtold, Boys & Girls Club’s Vice President of Operations.

“Little Falls Community Schools is excited to enter into a school-aged childcare partnership with the Boys & Girls Club,” said Greg Johnson, Superintendent of Little Falls Community Schools. “We anticipate a seamless transition and are confident that our students and families will benefit from the high-quality KIDSTOP programming.
